its name is linked to its zinc content.
It is a stone that has long been considered rare in crystals with only one deposit in Franklin, New Jersey, in United States. Few crystals have parts that can be considered gems and cut.
The zincite can crystallize naturally in mines, it is than the result of explosions in the zinc mines.
