On the road of the Mayas' Jade

Guatemala, the SIERRA DE LAS MINAS, where we find the mines of green jade that belonged to the Mayas. Jade was taken from these mines to a large city which was located at the bank of Rio de la Pasión. Here, a powerful king had organized trade based on jade, Quetzal feathers, and pyrite.
